20 Years of MTB
June 12, 2011Factory Trails
June 7, 2011I went down to Durango for the Iron Horse Mountain Bike Race. The course was fast and was made up of 3 laps up and down the mesa that Fort Lewis College sits on. One section was an area behind the dorms called “Factory Trails” made up by the Durango Devo team to teach kids how to ride mtn bikes. Check out this video of the tight and twisty race course…
A third choice
June 6, 2011There has been a battle growing on the trails, in the bike shops, on the internet forums, and on the race line over the past 5+ years. 26″ wheels vs 29″ wheels… While we were all taking sides, distracted and focused on which wheel we thought was better, we never saw the 3rd alternative creeping in… the 28″ wheel! It is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😉
