Winter Solstice

The Winter Solstice is my favorite day of the year! In the northern hemisphere, its the point in the earth tilts the farthest away from the sun, which also means the sun is the lowest in the sky.  For the next 6 months, we will start our return trip towards the summer solstice and that means the suns path in the sky will be higher and higher each day. The darker days are now behind us!
