2016 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Expert 6Fattie (Large) – now available to demo!
The most notable feature of the brand new 6Fattie are the bigger and badder 3 inch wide tires. This not-quite fat bike width gives you much more traction and flotation than typical 2.0-2.3″ mountain tires. The tubeless-ready tires are mounted to 650b (27.5″) rims which result in an outside tire diameter that is very close to a 29er. In order to handle the big tires while still keeping the wheels stiff and responsive, Specialized equipped the 6Fattie with hubs featuring new boost spacing.
In addition to the plus size rubber, our expert level demo bike features a FACT 9m carbon fiber frame, FOX Float Factory DPS shock, FOX 34 Plus Performance Elite fork, Shimano XT brakes, 1×11 SRAM X01/X1 drivetrain, and Specialized Command Post IRcc dropper seatpost.
