Despite below freezing temperatures and a recent snow fall, the 4th Annual New Years Day Ride was a blast! This year, Six guys from the Golden area showed up to ride up Lookout Mtn Road then descend the Apex trail. Every year offers something different. This year, it was 19 degs and 4″-6″ of fresh snow to battle. The road climb up Lookout kept your body warm and the slippery snowy descent down Apex made you feel like a kid again!
How long does it take to ride Apex in the snow you ask? Check out the GPS of the ride here…
