Team Colorado AIDS/LifeCycle (ALC) presents An Evening At The Oriental, a concert and silent auction to help raise money to support the Colorado Riders and Roadies participating in this year’s ALC 8 bike ride. The event will be held on Thursday, April 9 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. at the Oriental Theater at 44th & Tennyson in the Highlands.
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by the Denver Gay Men’s Chorus and DJ Thomas Arnot. Come bid on silent auctions items including art work, sunglasses from Rudy Project and Smith, Skins cycling shorts, skin care product from Amlavi, candles from Sundance, a year’s supply of Vitamin Water, a gift certificate for the shops at Larimer Square, as well as gift certificates for yoga, chiropractic care, massage therapy, tanning, and a salon cut & color with hair product. ALC 8 is a seven-day, 545-mile ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to benefit the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the HIV/AIDS-related services of the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center. May 31 through June 6, the largest group from Colorado ever to participate in an ALC will join over 3,000 other participants from all over the world to ride in an effort to end AIDS and provide awareness and support for AIDS research and people living with the disease.
