    Good use of the word “crushed”. Parker doing the climb twice means that he was training back then. This would be “Parker Smash!” Macy then not “Parker sleep on ground” Macy that we know now.

    I remember Parker telling me he went in to the bike shop in NZ and was bragging he could ride that hill; the shop called the newspaper to come see the crazy yank. Back then that was the “Tan, Ripped and Shaved” Parker, (his words of course).
