Most stitches at once & where: It’s a tie at 9! I caught a softball between my little finger and the one next to it at a Winter Park tournament; AND and in my left quad. after I broke my dresser mirror over my head when I was moving the dresser…with the mirror still attached, kinda!.
Worst Race: Hell in the High Country - Officially I finished 2nd…on the real I raced the entire course a second time (by mistake) and finished UBER-DFL! Seriously, the finish-line banner was down and only the promoter was still standing around when I got there. After 4.5 hours, two flats (including using a multi-tool to bore out my rim to fit a Schrader valve stem), and putting Catherine Zambrana’s front wheel back on with duct tape and a twist-tie, I rolled in stronger and smarter!
Best Race: 3rd Place at the 2006 Snowmass National Finals
I race bikes because: mountain biker chicks are fly!!
